Visited the Allied Boats factory in Bremerton, Washington to check on the progress of our 2nd welded, aluminum Wildcat. We are really loving the upgrades we made to the cuddy berths and cabin seating. Compared to the 1st Wildcat, we shaved about 12” off the cuddy and went from a queen bed to 2 single sponson berths. This will actually give 2 people more sleeping room (though not together) while...

We made a short visit to Allied Boats to inspect the progress of our second Wildcat. It is super exciting to see her coming together. Loads of room inside and outside the cabin. Welding, welding, and more welding.

We were fully loaded for the Washington Tuna Classic. 7 adults, 60 gallons of water, 600# of ice, and 250 gallons of fuel. Twin Suzuki DF300s. Topped out at 45 mph. There’s a little bit of profanity singing along with Ludacris in the background…

The welder needs to be sacked especially around the rear steps.
How do u slow down and troll with it???
For salmon, we often turn one motor off. Fish 30-60 minutes and then swap motors. 1 motor trolls as slow as we want.
any plans of incorporating hydro foil assist.?? all aluminum cats should have them for less hull in water, and needing less power and fuel burn.
I considered it, but there are too many unknowns regarding smaller cats. I don’t care to finance the R&D, only to find out they have a negative effect in following 5-8’ seas or that they impart quirks when running 23-25 knots in 4-5’ at 8 seconds, which are pretty common situations for us.
Is that a Ram 1500 towing the boat? I think that’s a Ram 1500
Are they black fin or Bonita
Neither. Pacific albacore. www.fisheries.noaa.gov/species/pacific-albacore-tuna
@@wdlfbio bonito are false albacore we don't eat them over here on the east coast
The boat was actually strapped to the trailer and is probably in transportation temporarily on that trailer.
I don't see the problem. He has it strapped down at the stern, too. That's boats not going anywhere.
Look at that bastard walk right over actually he didn't have to do anything just wait a few seconds the wind is going to take him right into the dock no other Maneuvers needed when you have the wind blowing in the right direction
It probably would have been helpful if you had showed us a picture of what this boat actually looked liked.
Do you mean, other than the picture you see before you open the video? As I said, this was to show a walkthrough of the boat, as requested by some other viewers who already knew the boat.
For those who are confused on why the fish was still moving even after it was dead, it was because of something called a “reflexes.” Typically when the word “reflex” is stated, what comes into mind first the the reaction of an individual towards the environment. This applies somewhat to the fish except it is dead. The fish’s nerve cells in its spinal cord still does function even after it’s death, this allows for the fish’s muscles to contract and move for a short period of time. This happens with us humans too, sometimes.
Sure was a good year this last year! Lots of nice fish. Love this boat.
It looks painful
It might be, if the fish was alive... It’s all in the description I took the time to write. Perhaps you could read that.
Жесть. Что за сварщики криворукие варили!?
you've got the crew dialed in. thanks for sharing the video. how big was that one giant?
The majority of those were just peanuts, 10-14# fish. The biggest, 22-25#, was what we expect that late in our season.
I sub’d!
Uncle Rog
This sounds like a porno.
At least you could spit first my bud
Beast animal criminal
Please elaborate. I’d love to hear how you can come to that conclusion.
MOVE THAT HEAD!!! have you seen what beans do to sailors😵?? only thing I found not to like about this boat
Not an issue. My sh!# smells like roses. 🤣
@@wdlfbio 😅🤣 GREAT REPLY😅😂 still like the boat
This is what they do to beef in the works
Bestialstwo
inhumane
How can one be inhumane to something that is already dead? Read the description before you comment next time.
I'm so glad that this is catching on in America! This will help bring better tasting fish to the tsble and will make more people enjoy fish.
its crazy to see how many ignorant people comment about a dead fish being alive, like have they heard of a spinal cord and central nerve system? for anyone who disagrees look into neuromodulation 😂
I love you man!!! Someone gets it!😂😂😂
This is how he tortures.
New catch and release program....lol
Sweet, that's a rough day for a first catch!
She’s a little trooper. it was on a Shimano flatfall jig 👍
Oh shit such a pain
Ok now ur playing with it😂
Imagine being the fish
Seems extremely painful
The fish was already dead, so it felt nothing.
do you know how much pain that fish felt.. try broken your bones and then poke with iron..
I know exactly how much pain it felt. If you exerted a tiny bit of energy and read the description, you’d know too and wouldn’t come off like a holier than though weenie.
Hopefully this guy gets the same treatment when meets the end.
And why is that? Do we want him to taste better?
@@AsbestosTastesGood yes That too 🤔🤤👹
THIS is the correct way to Ike Jime the line down the nerve. So many clueless "Pros" showing you to put the line inside the spine. Inside the center of the spine doesnt do a damn thing, because fish have their central nerve ABOVE the spine as shown here. However, and this short doesnt show if it was done or not, after spiking the brain, cut the gills and bleed out into a bucket of water or in the water over the side of the boat. The heart is still pumping, and the water will keep the blood from coagulation. THEN run the wire though the nerve as shown.
Very cool way to dispatch a fish, but the jokes almost feel sadistic
Audio Only is crazyy 🤣🤣
Only for the rich!
Not necessarily. Would be a great investment for a small charter captain taking 4-6 people fishing.
You cut its tail in half while it’s still alive ?
Nope. Cut its tail after we killed it. It’s all explained in the description.
Риба жива дибіли,гірше китайців
The fish didn’t feel anything
Зачем так делать?
This is torture
Take a moment to read the description. The fish is dead well before this is done.
Doesn’t look very dead to me!
Well, it is. I have no idea how many, if any at all, animals you’ve filleted or butchered, but we’ve had lots of fish twitch hours after they were dead. The heart still beats for several minutes after the animal is dead too. Involuntary actions.
Just imagine some brutal like you doing same things to both you? WOW I like it, don't stop don't stop...
Just imagine if people were smart enough to read the description before jumping to conclusions. We wouldn’t have near as many stupid comments.
@@wdlfbio those are brutals. This tip may help fish away from dying in agony, just hard hit to the head a quick and painless death. Are you biologist quick start in your self.
@@b.d.851 I’ll say again, read the description I wrote. If you take the time to read and are able to comprehend what I wrote, you will learn that your concerns are unfounded and comments are not applicable to the reality.
@@wdlfbio Your description was an excused.......................
fish doctor?
That was zesty af 😂😂😂
Fuck that this fish was still alive when he cuts it's tail and put the.....man would you like the fishes choppppppppp you like that....!? Stop this shittt right now
The fish was already dead though.
this should be banned
Why? Because you’re too lazy to read the description and jump to inaccurate conclusions?
maybe we should send 6000 volts through those people and watch them twitch and say it's the best way to cook them alive
Been hunting and fishing all my life gentlemen but that animal was still alive and you wonder why animal activits hate us ???????????????
You are 100% incorrect about the animal being alive. I call killed it immediately after landing it. Then I bled it. Then we began then Ike Jime process. If you, and everyone else who is capable of reading, took the time to read the description before replying with such crap, you would know better.
@@wdlfbio well I do apologize but sir it is not an infiboin and fish was still moving sir do not take this as a push because I am 60 yrs old and have dispatched many in my life time but we must be careful in todays cameras
@@levipeaslee7996 thank you. The number of folks who jumped to the similar conclusion as you did is astounding to me. It’s why I wrote a thorough description. The video is only intended to show folks a secondary way to severe the nerve/muscle connections to better preserve the quality of the meat. What is seen is nothing more than twitching when the inserted wire impacts the nerve. I promise you and all viewers, the spike I used and twisted around in the animal’s brain, prior to even bleeding it, killed it immediately.
